FAQs

Product & Design

  1. What makes Hexforx™ different from traditional manure forks? Hexforx™ was designed from the ground up with a focus on strength, efficiency, and long-term durability. The geometry, materials, and structural features were selected to improve real-world performance rather than follow conventional designs.

  2. What is SiftCore™? SiftCore™ is the structural floor design of the fork head. It uses a geometric pattern to balance strength and weight while supporting efficient sifting in common stall materials like wood shavings.

  3. Is Hexforx™ heavier than other forks? Hexforx™ is designed to maintain a balance between strength and weight. While durability is a priority, the overall design avoids unnecessary mass to keep the tool comfortable for daily use.

  4. Is Hexforx™ available in different colors? At launch, Hexforx™ will be available in black only, so we can focus on the material formulation that performs best in our testing. That gives us the flexibility to select the best combination of strength, impact performance, and UV protection without compromising those priorities for color. Additional colors may be considered in the future.

  5. Why are the tines shaped differently? The tine geometry is designed to improve strength at the base while maintaining effective spacing and performance during use. Each dimension was chosen intentionally to balance durability and function.

  6. Is Hexforx™ made in the USA? Hexforx™ was designed in the USA and the Fork Head and Handle are manufactured in the USA.

Use & Performance

  1. What type of bedding works best with Hexforx™? Hexforx™ is designed to perform well in common stall materials, including wood shavings and similar bedding types.

  2. Is this fork suitable for daily use? Yes. Hexforx™ was designed with daily use in mind, whether by individual owners or professional operations.

  3. Will the fork flex during use? Like any tool, some flex is normal under load. Hexforx™ is engineered to manage load efficiently while maintaining structural integrity during typical use.

Materials & Durability

  1. What material is the fork head made from? The fork head is made from an impact-modified glass-filled nylon selected for its balance of strength, durability, and environmental resistance.

  2. Will it hold up to manure and urine exposure? Yes. The material was selected with typical barn environments in mind, including exposure to moisture and waste.

  3. Is the fork head replaceable?Yes. The fork head and handle are designed as separate components, allowing for replacement if needed.

Ordering, Shipping & Assembly

  1. Does the fork come assembled? The complete fork is shipped unassembled to optimize packaging and shipping. Assembly is quick and straightforward.

  2. When will my order arrive? Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Please allow approximately 7–10 business days from the date of order for delivery. Many orders may arrive sooner.
